The event featured three-person teams from the PGA, Champions and LPGA tours.

It was separated into three team stroke-play matches. Each team tallied up their aggregate scores through six holes. The team with the lowest total won $100,000 on holes 1-6; $120,000 on holes 7-12; and $200,000 on holes 13-18. The second-place team on holes 1-6 got $60,000; $70,000 on Nos. 7-12; $120,000 on holes 13-18. The third-place team received six-hole payouts of $50,000, $50,000 and $80,000.

The team with the largest total amount of prize money after the completion of 18 holes – playing from different tee boxes – was the winner.

And, for the sixth time, it was the PGA Tour team.
